“My daily skincare routine”, or, when and what to apply

TikTok, Youtube, and Instagram constantly show videos of skincare routines for every skin type and every age. Creams, gels, lotions, and serums are some examples of products that are used, but with so many choices, at the end of the day, do we know when to apply what?

Certainly, every routine should begin with a good, thorough cleansing. It does not matter what texture your cleanser has, whether it’s a gel or a foam, but it’s important to always use it as the first step. Even the best, most expensive cosmetics will not work well on dirty skin. Pores must be thoroughly cleaned, and residue from other products must be completely removed.

After that, the following steps can be many and varied. Lotion for whoever wants to balance their pH, and then, definitely an eye cream. Eye cream needs particular attention in its application.

Tip! Always use the ring finger, and apply by dabbing under the eye and on the brow ridge.

SOS!  Avoid the mobile eyelid area, because it makes it look heavier. 

Then, ideally, apply a serum with a specific action. Next, apply your favourite face cream. This whole routine should be completed, regardless of season, with a high-protection sunscreen which, in cases where you are exposed to the sun, should be reapplied. Naturally, the same applies to those who work indoors, as sunscreen protects the skin from the sun’s rays coming through the windows, and from the computer screen’s blue radiation that ages the skin.
